Caravan Park Cleaner Karumba QLD

Cleaner required ASAP. Duties will include cleaning of amenites and cabins/units. You will be working as part of a team. Experience preferred but not essential. Accommodation in an onsite van or powered site if you have your own van can be provided as part of wage package. Farm Chem user cert or equivalent is a must for the spraying positions.  We may be able to help with the certs.

Workshop x 1-capable of repairs to implements, sprayers, planters- sound skills in welding, light  fabricating, spraying equipment repairs & must have a sound knowledge in mechanical repairs of tractors, utes and other general farm vehicles. 5- 6 days/wk starting mid February until mid December

Planter Operators x 2-operating Monosem planters 3m and 9m machines, able to enter data on an ipad, able to operate a planter monitor. Typically 5- 6 days/wk starting mid February until early September with a wilingness to work long hrs and possibly other work available until mid December

27m Boom Sprayer x 2-operating Hardi or Hayes towed sprayer. Ability to spray when spray schedule requires. Typically 5- 6 days/wk starting early  March until mid December

QLD National Parks Far North QLD

Volunteer campground hosts

The Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Horse Racing is seeking volunteers to work as Campground Hosts at Noah Beach, Daintree National Park. Volunteers camp free in return for maintaining the campground facilities.
Duties: Volunteers are required to work a minimum of 2 hours per day, 6 days a week cleaning facilities and removing rubbish.
Duration: 3-4 weeks
Desirable Requirements: Volunteers need to enjoy camping and the environment, be self sufficient and equipped to camp in all weather conditions (including high rainfall).

Caravan Park Team Charleville QLD. 

 Are looking for couples to look after Charleville Bush Camp which has a dump point, water taps, rubbish skip, camp fire, pet section and generator section. Our new basic camp 2km from Charleville. 

You will get a free powered site and $100 per week.

Duties include:

Checking that people have toilet on board.
Collect $5 per person per night.
Light camp fire.
Keep an eye on things.
Must have;
Own accommodation with shower and toilet.
No-pets.
Non-smokers.

Campground Hosts North Queensland

Are you interested in meeting new people and creating memories that will last a lifetime?  If you love camping and sharing your passion for the great outdoors, then campground hosting might just be for you.  

Conservation Volunteers Australia is partnering with the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service to deliver priority volunteering and voluntourism services across Queensland including campground host opportunities.

As a volunteer Campground Host you will experience camping in some of our amazing national parks, and at the same time assist Rangers in providing a valuable service to fellow campers.  Campground Hosts volunteer their time and act as an ambassador for Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service by utilising their fantastic communication and interpersonal skills.  

Campground Host duties include:

Provide a friendly contact point for the public at campsites.

Provide orientation to new arrivals and general information on the area and its attractions to campers.

Provide park information and interpretation to the campground visitors and ensure that the campsite is a safe place for all.

Help keep camping areas neat and tidy and amenities clean and functional.

Keep an eye out for any matters that need to be reported to the rangers.

Hosts are generally on duty for a few hours both in the morning and afternoon, so there is still plenty of time for you to enjoy the park.

We are looking for Campground Hosts in the following parks: 

Carnarvon Gorge, Carnarvon National Park 

Wallaman Falls, Girringun National Park 

Broadwater, Abergowrie State Forest 

Goldsborough Valley, Wooroonooran National Park 

Danbulla State Forest .
