2 couples required in family run Cafés.
Litchfield Café – sit down café and coach catering 5 km from Wangi Falls.
Wangi Falls Café – basic take-away style café at Wangi Falls in Litchfield Park.
Cooking – Cafe &/or coach catering. Food handling – Daily processing of foodstuffs. Customer Service. Daily preparation of buffet area, general cleaning in & around Cafes inc. toilets.

Must be fit, quick & able to work unsupervised to timelines.

Forklift Operators Mildura – Agrilabour

Job Description

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and ticketed Forklift Operators to fill any upcoming vacant roles in the 2019 Almond Season in the Almond Processing Factory located on the outskirts of Mildura, Victoria.

This is a challenging and fast paced environment. Working as a part of a team, your role as a Forklift Operator will require to ensure smooth and safe operation of the forklifts. You’ll need to be diligent in following strict operational procedures to foster a safety-conscious environment. With the factory operating 24h per day you will see yourself working 12 hours shift on a structured roster of 2 day on, 2 night on, 4 days off. Experience with shift work and willingness to work night shifts will be highly regarded. Where possible, candidates will be offered additional shifts across the processing plant.

Your Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience in efficient forklift operations and hold current Australian Forklift License. Forklift roles within the factory are varied and tasks range from transporting almond bins to loading and unloading of trucks, while also undertaking various fixed plant machinery & labouring tasks. With a generous hourly rate, applications are competitive, and positions are granted based on merit, previous skills and experiences. To be successful in your application, you will need to be a proactive and a keen team player, you will be flexible, reliable and foster a ‘can do’ attitude.

To be considered for the role, it’s important you can address the following criteria:

  • Current Australian forklift licence
  • Proven experience in safe and efficient operations of a forklift
  • Professional references to support the above
  • Be flexible with requested tasks
  • Willing to work day and night shifts
  • Committed to the entire season (approx. six months)
  • Have good level of English
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Able to pass pre-employment medical/drug and alcohol test
  • Own transport – preferred

Flinders Rangers SA

Skytrek Willow Springs Station is a 70,000 acre working sheep station in the picturesque Flinders Ranges, located only 21km north east of Wilpena Pound and adjacent to the Flinders Ranges National Park.

We are a family run business that diversified into tourism in the late 80’s and in 2018 was passed on to the next generation. Whilst the property is now managed by the son and his family, the tourism is operated by the youngest daughter. Both Mum and Dad are still active within the business however looking to step back and have the ability to travel.

Skytrek Willow Springs Station is seeking an energetic, hard working couple to assist with the maintenance and housekeeping of 7 diverse self-contained accommodation ranging from small to large, alongside maintaining 17 private and secluded bush campsites with amenities & camp kitchen.

These varied paid positions include cleaning of the tourism accommodation, shower blocks and camp kitchen, gardening, maintenance, grounds keeping and communicating with guests.

Hours will vary daily with some days only keeping candidates busy until lunch whilst other days will be a full day’s work. This of course gives the candidates the opportunity to explore the unique Flinders Ranges and to become involved within the local community. We stress that during our busy periods of School Holidays, Long Weekends, etc, that it can be very tiring and challenging and we ask that you strongly consider this factor when applying.

Majority of the time the candidate will be working in a team environment with the family however there may be times you are required to work on your own.

We would prefer people with their own caravan or motorhome as there is no staff accommodation available. Power will be available and we also ask that you have a current Police Check. Please note – there is no internet/mobile phone service at your site however full Telstra service is available within a 10min drive.

We are looking for help from the 25th March to end November 2019 and happy to consider applications for 8weeks+ of this period.
